Sitka Assembly of God

Mark and Sheri Buggins have been married for 23 years. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. Together, they have ministered in "Power Company for Kids," Sitka Assembly of God's outreach ministry for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade.

Mark serves as the Church Board Treasurer and the main cook for "Power Company for Kids" outreach ministry.  Mark is employed with the City of Sitka as the Environmental Superintendent.  Mark is also actively involved in the Sitka Baseball Program as a coach for over 20 years, and the assistant coach to the Sitka High School, three time, State Champions. 

Sheri has served in every area of children's ministry here at Sitka Assembly of God, and is currently our Children's Ministry Coordinator.  Sheri also minister's through clowning; she is affectionately known as "Lovey the Clown".  Sheri is an avid gardener, and loves to bake delicious homemade goodies; famous for her strawberry/rhubarb pie.

Sheri's love for kids is evident.  She has traveled to Mexico with Alaska Airlines ministering to the "Children of the Dump" www.childrenofthedump.org, and into the villages of bush Alaska; ministering God's love to children.

In Sitka, Sheri is employed with Alaska Airlines as an Operations Agent/Trainer.
